Woo hoo! I’ve just broken through the 400 view threshold of my blog since going live approximately 3 weeks ago. While I’m unsure if this is a high number, average number or low number I’d like to celebrate before I find out! So to do that I’m going to go ahead and start by quoting my dear friend Albert Einstein. Unfortunately if I was to quote Albert at the beginning of my post, something I’m not generally prone to do, some of you might think:
“Oh no, he started with an Einstein quote, therefore putting all his intellect onto the first line of the post rendering the rest of this post intellect-free, worthless, null and possibly void”.
-Some of You
You might think that and it is possible that it might be true. So in order to make sure that I don’t blow my intellectual wad in the first few lines I have decided to quote him on the 20th line or thereabouts upon the thinking that 20 lines is a post in itself anyway if everything goes horribly wrong. Not to mention the research carried out by several unnameable, but nonetheless legitimate research companies which states:
“People who have read 20 something lines of a blog post have invested/ wasted their time and therefore are more likely to continue reading regardless of topic or premature intellectual wad blowing.”
-Several Unnameable But Nonetheless Legitimate Research Companies
So without further adieu, your long awaited Quote from Albert Einstein:
“Rusch Heure Ranten ist die besten Blogge in diese holen widen würld”
So there!! Take that lethargic nuances everywhere!
Now queue the inevitable onslaught of emails and comments from general neigh-sayers, ludicrous wit-burglars, skeptical mice-dressers, colourful philanthropistic knife-wielders, virginity-hoarding blog writers and cudos-seeking cabinet-makers with their remarks that Einstein never actually said that nor is that quote comprised of any real German!
So before you all clog up the Blogwaves with your derisory and somewhat offensive retorts just let me say this:
“While I’am willing to concede that he may not, in fact, have ever said that exact quote, you cannot refute the fact that he was overheard once in a noisy café mentioning that he often thought about saying it.”
It might also be the time to remind you that Einstein also stated:
“People who research the validacy of quotes by famous people from the past are idiots who have the inverse amount of friends as they have time on their hands”
Of course Im paraphrasing there but I tend to agree because Einstein was, after all, a scientist and the words “Validacy” and “Inverse” look quite sciencey. (Hmm WordPress doesn’t recognise the word “Sciencey”…..or the word “WordPress”……..wierd!) (Ahh now it doesnt even recognise the word weird….but wait, now it does recognise it…oh, I see. I just spelled it wrong the first time! My bed.)
Nevertheless and lessthenever regardless of who said “what” it is hard to dispute the evidence that Einstein, while clearly autistic, was possibly the smartest man in the world of his day. With possibly the worst hairdresser in the world of his day.
You’re right Albert, reality IS merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one…just like this Blog.
And you, avid blog reader, if you’ve reached this far I applaud you while quietly questioning your popularity and lack of virginity. If you’ve gotten this far you may want to go all the way, the whole hog, the last yard, the extra mile, the short fall, the hop skip and jump and follow us by pressing the “follow” button. Unlike Einstein’s hobby it isn’t rocket science.
Or you may wish to follow us on Twitter @rushhourrant. Again its pretty simple to do.
